Annual Christmas Get Together

for the Boys of Ronan Park

Relax with the PC ideas. This is just a ??? 20 ???  plus year tradition. Please don't feel slighted. All the boys (now getting older 55's + or so aged  "husky size" men) used to get together at the Villa Rosa in Quincy just before Christmas for a couple of beers and to reminisce. We are still doing it and still on the same team. Sammy brings his old albums (now on the Reunion DVD) to make fun of ourselves. It is a great time and like an Irish American house party, we men are all in the kitchen, usually 30 about to be old geesers shooting the sh**. We'll see you there.

Does anyone have any old Christmas photos or stories to share with us all ?

Date will be:    December 7, 2009  6 PM Cocktails 7 PM Dinner

Restaurant:            The Fours        http://www.thefours.com/

Location:                The Four's Restaurant and Sports Bar - Quincy

A special Santa sleigh picked up John Jake Haskell from the Clambox on Wollaston Beach and delivered him to the gathering. We haven't seen him before this since tag football days across from his house on Percival Street on the 45 degree sloped touch football field next to the new playground. Jake had the best football receiver hands back them like Randy Moss. He is now enjoying retirement from the Post Office after 34 years.

John Stonehead Reddy from Potosi Street also came in from the cold mountains of New Hampshire and shared some old funny stories as was always his personality.

For 2008, where are you Dennis Kelliher and Joe McPherson ?

Joe showed up. See info on his son on the Happenings page.

It was great to see old friends again.
